Festive Fashion: Christmas in Evergreen - Tidings of Joy Photos and screengrabs: Crown Media

Last night the third installment in the Christmas in Evergreen series  “Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy” premiered on the Hallmark Channel.  In this new story, starring Maggie Lawson and Paul Greene, Katie (Lawson) is a skeptical writer who arrives during the holiday season as the the people of our favorite holiday town searches for a rumored Christmas Time Capsule.

I did my own searching for some of the fashion from the movie–check out the results below!

Katie Connell (Lawson) wears a cool grey Club Monaco ‘Darelle’ Coat with an easy zip design and cozy bouclé fabric that she paired with a deep purple scarf from Etereo.

Unfortunately, these are older items (Jen Lilley wore this coat in 2018’s “Mingle All the Way”) and therefore sold out, however, I found this similar ONLY ‘Sedona’ Coat and cable knit scarf on Amazon.

Fun Fact: Costume designer Valerie Halverson, who worked on this movie and “Write Before Christmas”, styled Torrey DeVitto in the same coat and scarf combo!

Holly Robinson Peete, who returns as Michelle Lansing, really brought her winter coat ‘A-game’ for this movie.  If every single behind-the-scenes photo Holly posted, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the plaid fringed coat she wears…I just had to find it–and I did.

She’s wearing the BCBGMAXAZRIA Gray Plaid Wool-blend Wrap Coat ($398 at BCBG.com).

But, wait, there’s more!  I’m not one to embrace pink hues during the holidays–I usually save that for Valentine’s Day time, but I can’t help but be totally on board with this raspberry number with rose gold hardware detail.  What did I tell you? Winter. Coat. A. Game.

She’s wearing the Ted Baker ‘Ellgenic’ Long Belted Coat in Deep Pink ($575), which is available at both TedBaker.com and Nordstrom.com.

FYI: Danica McKellar wears a shorter version of this in “Christmas at Dollywood”!

I was really upset that I couldn’t find a better screengrab of Katie’s colorblock sweater, hopefully I’ll be able to update this super low quality image soon, but I couldn’t pass up ID-ing this one.

She’s wearing the Joie ‘Golani’ Colorblock Cotton Knit Sweater (in Porcelain), which you may remember seeing in last year’s “Homegrown Christmas”.

Sadly, this sweater is sold out.

Patty McCormack, who plays the role of Nan Baxter, opted for a winter coat in a festive dark green to go with her traditional Christmas plaid scarf. What I love about her kate spade new york Princess Cut Wool Blend Coat is the sweet bow detail at the back! This coat is $358 at Dillards.com.

FYI: Tamera Mowry-Housley wears this coat in “A Christmas Miracle” and Cindy Busby wears it in “A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love”!

I certainly can’t forget the coat Barbara Niven, who plays Carol Shaw, wears!

Carol keep it classic in a navy blue double-breasted coat that pairs nicely with the pop of red she has going on with her sweater.  She’s wearing the Anne Klein Double-Breasted Wool Coat in Navy, and while it may be sold out, I found not just one–but two similar coats from the same brand!
