Word on the street is that two of our favorite Hallmark actors are coming back home to the network for the holiday season in all new original movies!

Ryan Paevey is set to co-lead “Christmas at the Plaza”, which will be directed by Ron Oliver with production beginning in September. The announcement came during Crown Media’s Summer 2019 TCA press event last Friday.

Paevey has done quite a few movies for the network over the past couple of years, but appeared in his first Christmas movie last year, starring opposite Scottie Thompson, in “Hope at Christmas”.  Paevey has previously starred in Hallmark’s “Harvest Love” (2017), “Unleashing Mr. Darcy” (2016), “Marrying Mr. Darcy” (2018), “From Friend to Fiancé” (2019), and “A Summer Romance” (2019).

Paul Greene was on set of the upcoming Hallmark Drama reality baking series, “Christmas Cookie Matchup”, today and hanging out with his fellow “When Calls the Heart” co-stars, but he took some time out to let us all know that he has another Christmas movie in the works!

Greene posted an Instagram photo with Chris McNally and Erin Krakow while announcing that he’s in early preparation to film Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas in Evergreen 3”!

The news of the third installment of the “Christmas in Evergreen” series, following the 2017 debut film and 2018’s sequel “Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa”, was announced at the TCA19 event last week however, much like Paevey’s movie, it wasn’t included in the press announcement released.

In addition to his role as Dr. Carson Shepherd on WCTH, Greene can also be seen in Hallmark’s “A Perfect Match” (2015), “A Christmas Detour” (2015), “Anything for Love” (2016), “A Wish For Christmas” (2016), “Campfire Kiss” (2017), “My Favorite Wedding” (2017), and “Christmas in Angel Falls” (2017).

The names of the female leads and the plots of both movies haven’t been announced yet, but I’ll keep you posted. I’m thrilled that we’ll see these actors as part of the holiday season again this year!

FYI: Check out this cute photo of Greene with his WCTH co-star Andrea Brooks

Stay merry!
